Last night I played the diabetes roulette wheel.
I always check my blood sugar right before I go to bed so that I can make any last minute adjustments before spending (hopefully!) a good 8 hours sleeping. If it’s below 5 mmol/L, I usually have a snack to make sure I don’t get a low overnight. If it’s above 8 mmol/L, I correct so I don’t have a high number come morning. Well last night it was 4.4. I was so tired though and didn’t feel like going all the way downstairs to get a snack, so I decided to take a chance of not getting a low blood sugar in the middle of the night.
Wonder upon wonders, I actually won! I woke up this morning with a wonderful 6.4. Yay me!
